Celebrating The Prophet
This site was created by people who love the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for the spiritual guidance he provided us; a positive force that endures centuries after his death. Our hearts and minds are nourished by his teachings, his exemplary character and his forbearing attitude. We are humbled by the extreme challenges he faced, as well as by the nobility, patience and perseverance with which he met them. He opened our eyes to living a purposeful life, and was sincere in his desire for humanity to attain even greater levels of civility. He tirelessly worked to connect us with our Creator, with each other and with our own selves. He showed us by example that all people - regardless of their faith, gender, ethnicity, or nationality - should be treated with mercy and compassion. He even reminded us that plants, animals and the environment should be shown care and reverence as signs and a trust from God. His hallmark was moderation in all aspects of life, and in that respect he provided the best moral compass.

For the past fourteen centuries his life, character and teachings have been a source of great spiritual guidance and peace for people of various faiths.

We love him, and as a reflection of this love, we celebrate him. We seek to celebrate him through providing authentic knowledge about him, organizing events to educate and sing his praises, and sending God's peace and blessings upon him. We pray these small efforts are facilitated by God...We believe sincerely that once someone has a deep understanding of who Prophet Muhammad was, a deep appreciation will follow.

The Prophet Muhammad
The Prophet Muhammad (p) served in many roles including father, nephew, son, cousin, grandfather, father-in-law, trader, husband, leader of a nation, intellectual, philosopher, spiritual sage, judge, counselor and social reformer. First and foremost, however, he was a messenger from God. Exploring his life, teachings, and character will show us how God’s Light is exemplified in his words and actions. The reflections of others will also help create a picture of who he was and what his message still stands for. Here we will also share how we can celebrate this great gift to humanity’s life and message.

*Out of respect and love, Muslims say 'peace be upon him' after mentioning the Prophet Muhammad. It should be noted that the same is said after mentioning any Prophet such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Moses, Joseph, and Jesus. Additionally Muslims also say 'peace be upon her' for Mary, mother of Jesus. The (p) after the names stands for 'peace be upon him/her'.
